X3 - Distance driver for reliable distance throws
The Prodigy X3 is a consistent, very long-flying, slightly over-stable distance driver designed for all skill levels.
The X3 is an excellent choice for any player who wants to throw long, fast and reliable distance shots.
The X3 is slightly less stable than the X2, giving it a longer glide period mid-flight and a smoother fade from left to right.
500 the plastic is developed through carefully considered player feedback
The Prodigy 500 Plastic has been in development for a long time.
The 500 plastic is molded and based on carefully considered player feedback.
It has a stiffer, less rubbery feel than the 400 Plastic.
This provides an extremely secure grip on the disc, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feel that Prodigy believes disc golfers will love.
The 500 Plastic has a unique pearlescent finish, unlike anything else in the Prodigy Disc plastic line.
What does X3 mean?
Prodigy has very logical names for their disks.
X= Extra speed distance driver and 3= 1-7 indicates how over or under stable the disk is.
A low number means over stable and the higher the number the more under stable the disk is.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.
