F9 - A perfect driver for beginners and children
The F9 is Prodigy Disc's most under-stable fairway driver. Adapted for beginners or those with lower arm speed, it allows for easy hyzerflip or minimal low-speed fade. Plus, it's a great choice for those practicing roller throws.
With a narrower rim, the F9 improves grip, especially for those with smaller hands. For kids and beginners, it can act as a distance driver, delivering a full S-curve even at slower speeds. Experienced players can use it for effortless turnover shots, and easily navigate the disk around obstacles.
500 the plastic is developed through carefully considered player feedback
The Prodigy 500 Plastic has been in development for a long time.
The 500 plastic is molded and based on carefully considered player feedback.
It has a stiffer, less rubbery feel than the 400 Plastic.
This provides an extremely secure grip on the disc, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feel that Prodigy believes disc golfers will love.
The 500 Plastic has a unique pearlescent finish, unlike anything else in the Prodigy Disc plastic line.
What does 9 mean?
Prodigy has very logical names for their Discs.
F= Fairway and 9= 1-9 indicates how over or under stable the disc is.
A low number means over-stable and the higher the number the more under-stable the disc is.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.

Worked as I expected
Good disc, has several times landed better than I thought when throwing (which has led me to look for it in the wrong place).
