Do you dream of reaching the moon with your throw? This disc may not take you there, but it promises to fly closer than any you've used before.
Discmania Limited Edition Glow Astronauts, first introduced in our 2022 Mystery Boxes.
These Astronauts are characterized by an extremely low PLH* and an almost flat profile, resulting in a fast but under-stable flight path with limited glide. They may not be your first choice for maximum distance throws on wide fairways, as the domed regular Astronaut may fare a little better thanks to its extra glide.
But where this disc really stands out is in performing long hyzer flip throws on narrow fairways. With the appropriate angle and power, you can achieve the challenging flip-up-to-flat and late swing drives, usually only possible with slower Discs. Be warned, though, this disc is significantly more under-stable; making sure it stays on course during headwinds and high-powered throws can be a challenge.
In addition, this plastic material is luminescent in the dark, making it a fantastic choice for glow rounds. All these Discs come in white/transparent and weigh between 172-176 grams.

Active Premium plastics are transparent and highly durable plastics. Active PremiumDiscs are usually more over-stable than their Active plastic counterparts.
Glow/ Luminescent
Lights up in the dark using a UV flashlight or regular flashlight.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.
