H3 V2 - A great choice for amateurs and professionals alike
The Prodigy H3 V2 is a slightly under-stable hybrid driver which provides excellent performance for all power levels.
Like the other hybrid discs in Prodigy's H series, the H3 V2 has been fitted with a slightly shallower rim and a sharper edge than the original H4,
providing a more comfortable grip along with increased speed and glide. The H3 V2 provides fantastic control and reliability for hyzer-flip, straight and anhyzer throws.
The H3 V2 is now a great choice for amateurs and professionals alike, whether it's for long, gliding casts in the open or breaking lines in the woods.
When thrown by a right-handed backhand player, it will swing smoothly to the right and then have a soft, compliant finish back to the left at the end of its flight.
500 Air - a lighter disc
The 500 Air is a series of lighter Discs for players with lower arm speed.
500 the plastic is developed through carefully considered player feedback
The Prodigy 500 Plastic has been in development for a long time.
The 500 plastic is molded and based on carefully considered player feedback.
It has a stiffer, less rubbery feel than the 400 Plastic.
This provides an extremely secure grip on the disc, balancing just the right amount of flex and firmness, with a very solid feel that Prodigy believes disc golfers will love.
The 500 Plastic has a unique pearlescent finish, unlike anything else in the Prodigy Disc plastic line.
What does H3 mean?
Prodigy has very logical names for their Discs.
H= Hybrid and 3= 1-7 indicates how over or under stable the disk is.
A low number means over-stable and the higher the number the more under-stable the disk is.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.
