FX-2 - Fairway Driver with Xtra Speed
The Prodigy FX-2 provides power in the fairway setup by adding speed to its class.
FX stands for fairway driver with extra length.
FX-2 is created in collaboration with 2-time Disc Golf Pro Tour champion Chris Dickerson.
The FX-2 is overstable with dimensions specific to Chris' desires in a disc.
The FX-2 has a profile that provides a comfortable feel for both backhand and forehand throwers.
Throw it as hard as you want and get a fast, straight flight with a soft finish or reduce power for controlled hyzers.
No matter how you throw it, you'll be amazed at how far it flies.
400 plastic gives you good grip even when wet
Prodigy's 400 Plastic is a premium blend of materials that is extremely durable.
The unique blend of plastics feels as good as it looks and will come into play over time.
This tour quality plastic gives the thrower a really good grip, even when wet.
What does FX-2 mean?
Prodigy has very logical names for their Discs.
F= Fairway Driver X= Extra length and 2= 1-7 indicates how over or under stable the disc is.
A low number means over-stable and the higher the number the more under-stable the disc is.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.
