D4 - An unstable Distance Driver
The Prodigy D4 is a very fast, under stable distance driver.
It is designed for all players and flies extremely far.
The D4 will flip up when thrown hard and will then react in the same way as the D3 with good glide and soft turn.
400G - 400 plastics with a shot of adrenaline
Prodigy's 400G Plastic is the regular 400 Plastic with a shot of adrenaline.
It is the base 400 plastic mixed with another resin that gives the plastic a slightly different feel than the regular 400 plastic.
The additive makes the record more durable but requires more time to record.
What does D4 mean?
Prodigy has very logical names for their Discs.
D= Distance Driver and 4= 1-7 indicates how over or under stable the disk is.
A low number means over-stable and the higher the number the more under-stable the disk is.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.

I love the feel of the shape of the Prodigy disk and the soft plastic, but at the same time provides extremely good grip. I am too much of a beginner to handle this distance driver in a fair way, but it has proved easy to train forehands with which is very positive.
Feeling good coming soon
