Disc that fills the gap between midrange and putters
The Prodigy A2 is an overly stable utility disc that fills the gap between midrange and putters.
The A2 is perfect for power throwers who want to avoid the possibility of their throw turning.
The disc is consistent and reliable in all wind conditions and perfect for short as well as longer approach shots.
The A2 is a beadless cousin of the A1 and will fly slightly less stable than the A1. You can expect 8-15 meters of extra glide than the A1.
400 plastic gives you good grip even when wet
Prodigy's 400 Plastic is a premium blend of materials that is extremely durable.
The unique blend of plastics feels as good as it looks and will come into play over time.
This tour quality plastic gives the thrower a really good grip, even when wet.
What does A2 mean?
Prodigy has very logical names for its disks.
A= Approach and 2= 1-7 indicates how over or under stable the disk is.
A low number means over stable and the higher the number the more under stable the disk is.
A2 is beadless
A beadless putter has a bottom edge without this extra ridge, leaving a smooth, rounded edge on the disc.
A beaded disc has a small piece of plastic molded into the bottom of the rim, creating a small circular ridge.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.
