Kristin Tattar on Claymore:
The Claymore is my favorite midrange on tight fairways. It is a reliable one when navigating tunnels, as it has tremendous glide and minimal fade. Even though it is a midrange disc, I can get a lot of distance out of it while staying on the fairway. Definitely a disc that all players can benefit from.
Gold is Latitude 64's premium plastic.
The beginning of the mix has been the same branded plastic used in Opto but they have added a different polymer to give it better grip without losing the excellent durability of Opto.
Over- or under-stable
Over- or under-stable explains whether the disc goes right or left for right-handed backhand throwers.
Add turn + Fade, if the sum is below 0 the disc is under-stable.
If the sum is 0, it is a neutral disc and if the sum is over 1, the disc is overstable.
Understable = Right, Neutral = Straight, Overstable = Left.
If you are left-handed it is the other way around, also applies to a right-handed person throwing forehand.
As a beginner, you should have an under-stable disc with low weight.
